Peacehaven & Telscombe Regeneration Partnership

Peacehaven & Telscombe Regeneration Partnership’s remit is "to promote and develop the social, economic and environmental well being of the communities and residents of the towns of Telscombe and Peacehaven".

Seaford Community Partnership

Seaford Community Partnership (SCP) is the first area partnership to form in the Lewes District LSP, which became established in October 2000.

Lewes Town Partnership

Lewes Town Partnership, comprising statutory and community representatives, was set up in 2003 to take forward the priorities for Lewes as identified by a lengthy and wide-ranging community consultation process in 2002. The Organisation is still in formation, but will build its capacity to get things done this year by undertaking the Market Town Healthcheck. We will use this process to help us re-focus and identify resources to take forward our priority areas:
Housing,
Health and Community (including young people and community facilities)
Environment (inc flooding)
local economy (inc Tourism)
Transport

Newhaven Strategic Network

We are a partnership of public, community and private organisations established to ensure the ongoing regeneration of Newhaven. Newhaven Strategic Network has taken over from the Newhaven Economic Partnership, which with national funding successfully delivered a number of regeneration projects. Last year Newhaven Strategic Network, through its partners successfully secured over £500,000 to deliver a range of projects and initiatives.

Rural Voices Rural Choices

Rural Voices Rural Choices is a partnership that seeks ways to improve the quality of life of people living in rural parishes, both large and small, within the Lewes District. Its members are from local organisations, businesses and individuals that meet in a different rural venue alternate months. Business people in rural areas are most welcome to come along to the meetings.

Action in rural Sussex

Sussex Rural Community Council was formed in 1931 as a registered charity and has served rural communities ever since. In 2002 SRCC changed its name to Action in rural Sussex. Action in rural Sussex has grown steadily and now employs 40 members of staff.
The role of Action in rural Sussex has been, and still is, to identify problems and to respond to the needs of rural communities - providing practical help and helping villages in Sussex remain vibrant living and working places. In addition to our practical work with rural communities, we champion their needs wherever policy is being made that will affect them. In the last few years Action in rural Sussex has been particularly successful in managing rural regeneration programmes in the eastern end of East Sussex.
